Thank you to MCO, when and where it all began! True they said there’s a blessing in disguise. I started having this idea to start producing my own ‘bumbu’ when I had too much of spare time at home and so I decided to channel my energy and creativity into something I really love doing! Having the passion in cooking (besides fashion of course) helps a lot in initiating this idea to make it happen. I was lucky to be raised by a master-chef-mom who inherits the authentic Indonesian recipes from which I have learned so much from, and then have the ingredients, taste and style of cooking customised to suit the discerning Asian taste buds! Here’s hoping that this new baby of mine from my very own Dapur Mandagie will continue to enchance and satisfy the cravings of those who enjoy Indo-Malay dishes!
Now, at 2022 comes my own Sambal that has been influenced a lot by my Malaysian and Indonesian heritage. Premium ingredients are combined together to create a delicious sambal that will make you wanting more. The sambal can go with almost anything and continue to make the dishes even better. Whether using it as a cooking paste or eating it with fried rice. “Sambal Ijo” and “Sambal Kencur” is here to satisfy your spiciness cravings.
